After spending decades in education and social services, I’ve seen how often there’s a big gap between what organizations promise and what people actually experience. Sometimes, it’s made worse by staff who feel worn out and cynical. But when I joined PIA, I was blown away by how much they really care about making everyone fee valued and empowered. From the newest employee to the director, everyone feels like they matter here. Being part of PIA is a huge honor for me, and I am committed to keeping alive the founder’s vision of a place filled with warmth and community for generations to come.
